The absurd part of this whole thing is that her family wants to profit off her and get the riches and fame that come from her name, but don’t want to face the same pressures and expectations of the public that Britney had to go through. They literally want their cake and to eat it, too. Britney had to make PR statements, but Jamie Lynn refuses to engage (allegedly).. yet still wants to ride the coat tails (allegedly). You can’t have the prize without the fight baby, baby. God, they all really need to actually LEARN from Britney.. and not the other way around, as they have so long believed.

I think that would have been a way better move, even if she didn’t actually care, but just to protect her own image. Instead she like doubled down on the whole “this is a private matter, my sister is fine and I’m a good sister” thing.

I don’t know who gives her PR advice, but I don’t think they are doing a good job. 

I recall that back in 2008, a New York Times journalist described the efforts to force Britney into a conservatorship as "Humpty Dumpty"-like. 

JL's attempts to spin her narrative on the truth is also complete, off-the-rails idiocy.
