Sam and Britney won’t crop puppy Porsha’s ears

Sam confirmed tonight in his IG stories that they won’t crop their new puppy’s ears. The tail was cropped when they got her but he wouldn’t have cropped it either, had he known what it means.

I like that he admits he was informed by PETA and gives them a shoutout as well. I think he adds that he likes the “Batman look” because he doesn’t want to offend Porsha’s breeder who probably had their dogs ears clipped (since they clipped Porsha’s tail as well).

Don't want to be that guy, but PETA should've informed him too about adopting, not buying (assuming he bought).  The decision is already taken and Porsha is a little angel that deserves a loving home, but I hope he knows from now on.

Also, poor Porsha that she doesn't have a tail anymore. I didn't know that was still a thing. It's not allowed in my country afaik.

Good, I hate the ear cropping, they are dogs not fashion accessories. She is beautiful as she is, good for him.

I'm completely against ear cropping and tail docking because I believe it to be barbaric, I mean its surgically altering for aesthetic purposes, and of the arguments for it make sense for a house pet. In Ireland, it's illegal to do unless a medical professional has a reason to, and most won't, but due to the pandemic, our extended lockdowns and our status as the worst country for puppy farms in Europe, people across the country bought dogs with docked tails and cropped ears from dodgy breeders, no doubt, because "aesthetics"

it's illegal here. people still sometimes get surprised when they see my dog, because the breed was known for its clipped ears and tail back in the day. it's disgusting to do that, there's no valid reason.

I love that he introduced her as a protector for Britney and said she will be trained to go after anyone who messes with her but then in this video he says she's a lover not a fighter haha I'm just teasing but I thought it was funny. Porsha is the cutest little baby I'm glad they are speaking out about it because it really is only done for the cosmetic look of it there is no purpose or function.
