if you remember, which I know you do based on your comments, she also mentioned wanting to make R&B music for Mad Love (during the sessions for Good to Know), but how the label wanted to push poppier songs. This is likely where songs like Rise, Vibe (which I loved), and High Heels (which I loved) came from. 

when she left Atlantic, they were kind enough to let her because of all that she went through I think. She left because she was able to establish her own imprint, Clover, hence why there’s a clover symbol on Good To Know and the latest project! 
I liked Good to Know but after years of hearing her EPs, I found it to be a bit more commercial (less than Mad Love).

Overall I found it boring like her last album! I really like her but she’s been disappointing me lately! I did love her Xmas album though! The only tracks I liked on the new album (because it is an album no matter how many times she calls it an EP) were Spiral SZN and Fresh New Sheets.
