I think it's because this was supposed to come earlier but NYT released their first, and they screwed their release

I think they have so much material in those documents and they didn't even realize, or they did but to fit it in the timeline they had to cut stuff

Those documents are precious, the sealed documents from all those years, like Jason's thoughts about the conservatorship etc, we don't have that, but they barely touched on them

That's the real exposure they had to do but hopefully they release that material later

Both the NYT documentaries barely touched on Loucifer Taylor. So no, Netflix seems better by virtue of them focusing on Lou more and exposing this to more general audiences.

It is a well made documentary but yeah I agree The New York Times screwed Netflix big time and released their doc first. 

What I liked about this is they named names, everyone involved got the mention. However, it did not dig enough. Perhaps a part 2.
