Well that happened to me in J.lo's set, I'm a filmmaker and fashion photographer.  I had a similar experience with Kendall Jenner years ago, Kendall's staff asked not to look at her or speak to her directly, there was only one person in charge of speaking to her, even for the smallest indications you should talk to this person and not kendall, it was ridiculous tbh but it's very common in the industry.
