Jenny Berggren (Ace of Base) is presented a plaque by her record label of updated 50 Million records sold worldwide

Jenny Berggren performing in 90s Festivals as Jenny from Ace of Base, was interrupted by the host, to say the label executive of Playground music is here to present something to you. 

 

Playground Music Scandinavia over took the group's original independent Danish label Mega Records, Copenhagen..

 

Being presented with an updated sales of 50 Million as he said next year brings Ace of Base to 30 years since The Sign was released (the only time A swedish act actually had the top single and album in the US in 1994).

 

Jenny is immediately almost crying seeing the photo of herself along with her Brother Jonas, and Sister Linn (who protested the global fame since day one and everybody in the group agreed to slowly phase her out, they kept their word by the Time "Da Capo " came out their fourth and final studio album under the original line up she rarely had a presence in the group, and when the 2007 reunion tour happened they announced she was no longer a member and hasn't been one for quite some time).

Due to the plaque only representing the original line up, that means the line up of the Golden ratio with Club icon Clara Mae actually doesn't exist. Ulf declared that album as a mistake cos it nearly costed Ulf a really good friend in Jenny and Jonas a huge disownment by his sister. 

 

And the fans was upset as well, since it was a family act. To have girls dressing kind of provocative, which normally they don't mind, but given how 3/4 of the band were actually full blooded family members, yeah that didn't go so well seeing Clara and Julia in lingerie. 

 

That wasn't our image at all to the fans.
