Well she uploaded onto the scene huge from her first video.

young people might not know or won't remember it, but BOMT was an instant classic. Like, it didn't take 10 years or more for the world to realize it was iconic, just one year later it was already seen as a classic moment in pop culture. By the time Oops came out, she was already that legend that released BOMT (even if Oops is my favorite)

I think it’s the Oops performance at the VMAs. She had a lot to prove, she had to show she could have longevity in the business and not only she did that, but she snatched everyone’s wigs with that performance. 

The attitude, the nerve, the choreo, the controversy of the nude costume, I mean, everything was there to prove she had come to stay and make headlines.
 

From that moment on, no one could really touch her. And to see the effort she put in that through the leaked rehearsals makes it all much more satisfying

When she released Pretty Girls with Iggy Azalea!  She became a legend because this feature was such a charitable act on her behalf!

She was already iconic but Toxic cemented her in pop culture.  “It’s Britney *****” reinforced it. 
 

Some of you may be too young to remember (and I feel super old saying this) but around 2006-2007 she was the most famous person to exist. To this day I think she is one of the most recognisable women in the world.
