Rihanna says her new record will be experimental.

At one point there was buzz she was releasing two albums: one more conventional Rihanna, one reggae. No idea if that's still happening - one way or another though I'm perched.

Well its nice to know she is still doing music. I honestly thought she was gonna just stick with fashion.

I'd love for the album to be filled with alot of fun upbeat tracks. Anti and a good bit of her later material has felt so heavy at times. Either way I always find something I enjoy on her albums.

Whatever you know of Rihanna (good music) don’t expect that. Wonderful. She knows well enough to get ahead of the meltdowns her fan base is going to have. This way she can fall back and say “ i tOlD yOu I wAs tRyIng SoMeThInG dIfFeReNt”

Her team has been attempting to do a 2013 Beyoncé roll out strategy in order to build up hype. You know, have fans constantly asking about the album or single. It worked for Beyoncé, only time will tell with Rihanna. Honestly I think it’s best to wait until the pandemic is over, but if she waits too long there’s a chance of the “Fergie effect”.

This album taking so damn long to drop it’s not even funny and now this??? Experimental means no pop bangers and that’s a huge *** disappointment cuz she’s soooo good at them and we need em. Just keep it at this point.
