How did y’all get your job? I got mine through my cousin but I’m looking for a new one and it’s taking forever. Any tips, tricks, websites to use (no not only fans)

I'm in Academic Advisor at a university! It took me a bit to get to this position, but when I first started out I joined the temp pool, where they assign you a role within the university for up to 3 months. If the department that you are placed in likes you they can extend you. But I saw this as a way into the university. Luckily, my first placement as a Clerk (admin assistant) was in an Academic Advising office. I just kept working hard then I eventually landed a role as an Advisor. 

However, 4 months ago, I made a lateral move to a larger university and I'm loving it. What a dream come true to be honest.

I currently am working at Short Line Express Market and Gas Station as a Cashier 

I got the job by simply being a walk-in. I went in to buy some b-l-u-n-t wraps, Powerades, sour cream and onion lays chips and some Skittles and asked the cashier if they were hiring. Grabbed an application, job interview next day. Hired same day

I work on the advertising field managing projects. I got the job through interviews but one of my friends also recommended me.

Indeed using specific keywords, search filtering, and their job alert emails that will let you know when a new job with that keyword has been posted.

I was unemployed for most of the year last year, so I know how tough it can be. Good luck!

Im a digital marketing specialist and strategist for an American company  how to get a job? Apply for as many jobs as you can online, the companies will dispose of your CV for the most ridiculous of reasons so you wanna have as many of them consider you as possible. 

As far as the interviews go – lie. Give the company whatever they wanna hear because thats all they really want. Plus, majority of HR managers are literal idiots who wouldn't know how to their job if you put a gun to their head.

There are some times when I just can’t stop with the CVs thing and then too many of them stick that I have to come up with an organized schedule, leaving at least a day between them so I can reload properly... are our Artpops aligned now?

It took me almost a year finding a gas station job because I'm an immigrant so I don't wanna know how long it's going to take once I look for a job as web developer/software developer still have to make up my mind on what I should focus .... It's really hard , anyways like it's been said here leave CVS everywhere until you get a chance to start somewhere

Wow the efficiency. I wish all employers are like that. I lost a great opportunity because the employers were too slow. I didn’t get a response after the second round of interviews and took another job. They texted me the same day I started with the other job that I applied

This is what’s happening to me I did 2 interviews and they promised to contact me in a week and nada 😑 so I’m looking at other places hopefully I get something soon.
