No Seas Cortes
Hi Exhale What was your first impression of Britney when you saw her, listened to her etc. for the first time? Personally I don't even remember haha but what about you people? 6 Link to comment
Danielle1987
Britney WAS my formative years, as she was on the tail-end of her formative years & I was at the very beginning of mine Those who missed out on Britney’s teeny bopper years, esp while being a preteen/teen themselves, missed a really special gift. Britney is 6 years older than me, so she always came across as that “older, cooler” kid that had life figured out. Like, I was in junior high & she was in high school. I got that impression during BOMT video & interviews (she was always on MTV & others) from 1998 on. 2 Link to comment
Tear the floor up up
Immediately hooked when I heard BOMT, I fell in love with the song instantly. I don’t have that many memories of her around that time because I was very young but I always liked her. 1 Link to comment
boyinthemirror
My first impression was that she was incredibly talented and special. I watched the BOMT MV and it was love at first sight. I loved her smile, the fire in her eyes, her attitude, her dance moves, the voice, her outfits… Everything. Life was never the same after that 1 Link to comment

JackSProductions
The first song I ever heard was Born To Make You Happy and it was on a Now compilation album. I was just fascinated by her voice and even the instrumentation, I was very young but I remember then seeing the music video and she looked exactly how I imagined her surprisingly but I’m positive I’d never seen a photo of her before 1 Link to comment
PokemonSpears
I first watched her on the BOMT video. I thought she was just amazing and beautiful and very cool. I was used to pop girls from Latin America, and I already knew things like BSB, Spice Girls, etc, but there was just something so fresh and captivating about Britney and her voice, that she just instantly became my fave. And not just mine, but also my siblings and cousins, it's like, we all could see how incredible she was. I think it's in her eyes, maybe she results familiar to us, because she kinda looks like one of my cousins, only if she was paler and had darker hair (I know that doesn't sound too similar but I swear there's something similar, even in the facial expressions) 1 Link to comment
Adriannn
I was very little so I can't specifically remember, but when I look back at those days, this scene comes to mind while I was thinking "that's so cool" 1 Link to comment

Stefani
Me when I first heard some of her older songs on the radio: Me when I heard Gimme More for the first time: I was so neutral about her before Blackout. I missed so many eras of her legacy and completely missed her peak. Link to comment
