She always came last to Monica and Brandy, but Aaliyah's music was much more gritty and very grown up. 

 

Her dance style was more fluid and very much classical trained. Which is why her style wasn't easy. But, Ciara like a boy was obviously a nod to Aaliyah's footwork and fashion sense and Future***/lovesounds @Rik can tell you **** back and several tracks had Red album (aaliyah fan base title since they feel self titled albums sucks) all over the timbo production

I don't know what I could've added to the video 'cause I'm still like a minor and don't have the same type of experience y'all might have lol so don't worry!! Aaliyah is very very important to me though because she was the second artist to get me properly interested in music when I was in like 3rd or 4th grade, maybe I can contribute as a Gen Z   Ugh school work is driving me nuts, really hope I have time soon to watch, I'll let you know when I get the chance!
