Jason Trawick denies he was secretly married to Britney

Recommended Posts

Britney's ex-fiance, Jason Trawick, shot down rumors he was ever married to Britney. “I believe you would have known if I was married,” he texted Extra's Billy Bush. “But you would have made a perfect usher,” he jokingly added.

The rumor gained traction this week following an episode from the @BritneysGram podcast in which they unearthed a $9,150 payment on Oct. 1, 2012, found on a conservatorship doc for “consultation [on] dissolution of marriage.”

The payment was made to the “law offices of Alexandra Leichter,” a Beverly Hills-based attorney. It was listed under “conservatee’s legal fees.”

“My assumption would be that those were legal services that were rendered directly for [Spears’] benefit and nobody else’s,” said estate specialist Austin Bertrand in the episode. “‘Dissolution of marriage’ only means one thing, which is divorce,” he explained. As @PageSix points out, Bertrand is not involved in Britney's case.

In March of this year, ThisIsMeDizz on Twitter shared the filing in question and noted the doc stated "dissolution" and not divorce.

BreatheHeavy/Exhale member @rennen points out: "It could have been a case of her conservators seeking advice about what steps would be needed if a dissolution of marriage was required if they got married at a later date, and it didn't work out." Others speculate this consultation was related to a prenuptial agreement.

Trawick became Britney's conservator over her person in April, 2012. Judge Reva Goetz signed off on that. This went down only a few months after they were engaged. He resigned as her conservator upon their breakup in January, 2013.

He spoke out once. He said that Cassie Petrey he is a nice girl or some **** :gagasmile_smirk_lady_pink:

Good heavens, if Cassie gets the seal of approval from someone as shady as Jason Trawick who is also supposedly friends with the unsavoury Bryan Spears who sneers down his nose at his sister, that's gonna highlight even more red flags about her IG.

I don't think he was married to her, thank god, he certainly sounded like he was definitely emotionally abusive towards her and alledgedly physically abusive too. Didn't somebody post here that the 'consultation of dissolution of marriage' was more of a 'what would happen in the event of a divorce' and seeing where Britney's assets were covered? And then their engagement imploded.

interesting that he comes out of hiding to defend this... he must be paying attention as this isn't something that has hit mainstream media.

if he would've ignored it, I think i wouldn’t have thought more about this... but now that he has denied it... hmm i don't know. it just adds fuel to the fire.

there is more than we know about jason, that's for sure.

can they please free britney now? im scared for her.

Keyword? Consult. Consult dissolution of marriage services.

I think the gram girls put two and two together and jumped the gun tbh. Unless there's something else I've missed?

Could this have been tied to a prenup? Lord help me I can't remember where I read/heard this but pretty sure Jason would have been required to sign a prenup with Jamie if the marriage had happened. Was it someone here or maybe it's from the gram girls podcast, but Jason and Jamie were likely just trying to move her money and mayhaps consulted about a divorce because that was the plan. to marry Britney, move the fund, divorce and get paid to leave.
