10 years Ago Cher lloyd topped the UK charts with the chaotic but controversial "Swagger Jagger"

Perhaps a bizarre #1 hit single, Swagger Jagger, with its mixture of Oh My darling Clementine the American nursery rhyme as the obvious inspiration of the chorus, to dismissing haters, Talking about being retweeted, to can't stop looking at her, which is why she's laughing at the low life's and nobodies hating her, while her swagger is in check. 

 

OCC notes One direction and Winner from this season Matt Cardle who had a song written by Gary Barlow, from take that and an x factor judge himself had much more basic and pretty safe debut singles especially "what makes you beautiful " By one Direction, Swagger Jagger with it's dub step and Euro dance synth lines and 808 bass, was not only a basic song, but pretty much risky especially since Cher lloyd actually had writing credits which was a rare thing for X factor contestants signed to Syco had from the beginning creative control in terms of Music and image.
