Those interviews are hard to watch. In one interview, she’s been questioned about how good of a mother she is. Everyone mocked her after it aired. The other one she’s been made out to look like promiscuous and is being blamed for the way the relationship with Justin ended.

They’re classic and iconic emojis but yes, in a way we’re guilty for using someone’s suffering as a form of a reaction.

I have used them a few times and honestly now I feel bad about it. I also say let’s retire them. We stand for Britney! Not for Britney in sadness/pain.

Tbh this wokeness is getting to the point where no one can say anything about anyone/anything without it having to be cancelled. First people were saying it's racist to use black people gifs if you're not black. Now we can't use a crying gif because it came from a time a person showed emotion, which is the point of using gif to express your emotion. 

Yall can retire them. I will keep using them

Nothing is malicious. If we’re going to start cancelling emoticons then make sure you get them all. There’s plenty of others that can be considered problematic too

I've thought about it before, and it's actually the first thing I always think about when people ask whether she reads Exhale or not, that the weirdest thing must be to see all the emojis we use of her, not just the sad ones, but also the funny ones, and everything in between.

If we're gonna retire them, then we should retire all the other crying emojis too, since all the other people that appear in them are also suffering one way or another. People can still find the bigger version of the gif and paste it though

It's hard not to use them cause Britney is so perfectly expressive with ALL her emotions... happy, angry, sad

I feel like in this forum we know that we're not making fun of her pain when we use them.

we just relate to how human and vulnerable she was in those moments.

But if Britney ever poked her head in here and saw us using them I guess I would feel bad?I 

I hope she understands that it's just cause we think she's iconic.

I personally love all Britney emojis, she's full of expressions. I don't think they need to be retire/cancelled... you're using it express your reacts, not making fun of anybody...

I try not to ever use those sad ones. I like the cute, happy and funny ones, but I'm fine with not using any of them tbh. I love her and would never want her to be on the forum and think we are EVER making fun out of any upsetting situations. I would NEVER do that or want to hurt her, so I just don't use them just incase.

Every day we find new things to be offended or outraged by  in that case let’s retire any emote post conservatorship and any from these interviews. I don’t think anyone that uses those emotes take them literally as if they’re making light of her suffering.

I respect and value all of y’all’s opinion. I guess I’m just being protective of her. I’m trying to see it her way. I doubt she’d like to see her pain being used as a meme. That’s just my opinion tho. I’m not making this out to be “woke” or “sensitive.” Just trying to do her right.
