But why though? I don't think she's interested now, I mean look at her business even I won't be interested making music again when I am this rich - this women is an inspiration on how to retire at the top and make an empire this big.

I get that, but I miss her making music. She is where she is thanks to music and us buying her art; I kinda feel cheated.

I was just listening to B***h Better Have My Money and I can tell you that she is one of the few artists who truly deserve it. After her money was withheld by Jay-z who later sold her a ratched house for a ton of money, Beyonce attempting to derail her career, and her accountant stealing her money she still came out on top.

Aww good for her. As much as I love Rihanna, she was always more of a music industry plant rather than an actual artist. I think her true passion was always in modeling and beauty, and as we can see, it’s serving her well at this point in her career.

I love that in the USA you can be a black female immigrant on a green card from Barbados and become a billionaire with some talent, hard work and luck. Land of opportunity

Though I don't see why she can't keep releasing music as a side thing, I also believe she was smart in creating another business for her. The thing is, everyone sooner or later reaches an expiration date, not because they go bad or aren't talented anymore, but simply because having success in a given time doesn't mean they will be successful with all the newer generations that keep coming. Sadly, the industry tends to favor younger artists, especially when it comes to female musicians. So either you have to keep working a lot, or have too much luck, which might not be very fun for some. So, using the money she's earned and investing in a side business (that in her case has become the main one), that will give her the same or even more money than she would ever get singing, securing her future and probably working so much less than being a performer, is really smart.

Obviously there comes some work with it, but she'll eventually reach a state where she can just do whatever she wants, keep expanding her business, maybe releasing some music at some point, start a family if she wants to, and doesn't have to worry about "flopping" or doing promo or stuff like that.
