What was your first reaction to POM?

What was your guys first reaction to the very first POM show? The costumes, the stage, THE SETLIST! Seeing Britney perform songs she hadn’t sang in over 10 years (Oops, Crazy, Stronger, Lucky etc)

I wasn’t around in Exhale in 2013 and I would’ve loved to see everyone’s live reactions!

My first initial thoughts were I didn’t like the costumes (or heeled sneakers) or the wigs (and how she kept changing wigs throughout the show) or the choreo.  Britney seemed kind of nervous and the dancing was a bit sloppy (especially in Work ***** which was a shame because it was the first performance of the song). I didn’t like the Circus or I Wanna Go performances they felt cheap compared to the Circus tour.  There was hype that they were really taking TCSBS as inspiration for that section. Also we were hyped that she always sings live (even though it doesn’t always sound good).

I remember being so disappointed that she didn't sing live because she said she would sing live

to me it felt as if they had “killed” her career too early. i wanted more.

vegas seemed like the equivalent of sending and old person to a care home. like that was it.

i also felt that everything looked SO cheap - like where was DWAD-ney? if something was to happen in vegas it was to be spectacular and POM was not.

i felt like it was too soon to send her into the nostalgia act and turn her into a has been. and being in vegas felt like it.

the costumes where horrible, the wigs were horrible - the lipping was too much. I did went to see her but I went to the revamped version in 2016 and it looked / felt great in person but I always felt it looked cheap in photos / videos.

I've always found it very sloppy, I've always wondered why a mega star like Britney Spears didn't have a show that lived up to her name. Starting with the costumes, the props ... everything. However, in the situation she was in, she did everything she could.

yes, little did we know. i mean we always knew there was something happening but we never thought it be june 23rd level.

Everyone hated the wigs but I remember people being SHOOK by the GM and BTI performances!

Overall, I loved POM and she did incredibly well - she achieved so much and truly made Vegas popular for younger acts.

I really liked the production, including the wigs. The wig change from everytime to bomt was amazing. She was moving more and I remember the dress rehearsal videos from 26th December. It looked great and I was shocked to see the Blackout medley. That was the highlight of the show! I was patiently waiting for her to get comfortable on stage and with the choreo.

A few months later Brunetteney happened and that's when I knew Britney meant business. I saw some attitude then. Then 2015ney came with the red outfit and later with the mermaid hair and I was slayed. Then 2016ney happened and the fire was back!

I didnt like the wigs, the costumes, half the set list and the overall theme was just corny to me. But I liked it better when it was revamped. The green outfit, her hair and her energy was sooooo much better.

Everyone will act now like they hated it to be cool, but aside from the first wig and the fake abs, most of us were very excited, that she was performing the old songs, that she was performing Break the Ice (because the documentary mistakenly stated that she was performing Hot As Ice instead), and that she was doing the MATM choreo (sort of).

We were also seeing the full Work ***** choreo for the first time. BOMT/Oops was definitely my favorite part, and also Lucky.

She got better over the years, especially the dates in 2014 where she didn't wear a wig, but even the first date of POM was miles better than FFT, so that was really exciting on its own.

The wigs were confusing at first but it was a huge improvement when she stopped wearing them
