    In 2013 Jamie Lynn returned to the scene for the first time since the end of Zoey101 in 2008. While speculation at the time suggested that her pregnancy ended the show, season 4 was allegedly filmed prior to this. During this time Britney was placed under the now infamous and highly unethical conservatorship. When Britney was placed under a conservatorship she was made to record several albums while Jamie Lynn raised her children and gradually began recording her own material under the management of Lou M. Taylor of Tristar Sports and Entertainment. 
     

     

    Jamie Lynn would release How Could I want More followed by her first full length country  EP in 2014. 

    a year later Jamie Lynn was spotted holding a knife in a public fight, however not many details there after were released 

     

     

    The country efforts were speculated to become a full length album, with Jamie releasing her first ever documentary in 2016 around the same time as Glory. The music she released received  praise overall, but major criticism from the likes of country acts like Blake Shelton (primarily for being the sister of Britney Spears). 

    Somewhere along the lines however, Jamie Lynn stopped recording music immediately after the release of the documentary. The only song released was Sleepover

    in 2018 Jamie Lynn was secretly appointed the trustee of Britney’s fortune, including a trust fund for her two sons if Britney were to pass away. Since that time Jamie Lynn has denounced the movement in the name of privacy, all while reducing the movement to a hashtag. She has since retracted her statements, telling magazines that she is all for the movement. 
     

    This is not a Jamie Lynn hate thread tbh. I’m genuinely just curious, what would have happened had Jamie Lynn’s country career actually taken off? Why was she not more commercially successful and why did she not release an album following her 2016 documentary? Do you think the Free Britney movement would have been in more jeopardy if her career had succeeded?

      Lots of what if’s….that’s why Britney tells us to believe in fairytales. But at the end of the day, let’s focus on things that are actually possible…and Jelly Bean having an actual career isn’t one of them.         Lol Blake is trash. That comment was totally unnecessary (and the fact that the crowd cheered on that comment? What is with country music fans and their superiority complex? And this is coming from a country music fan). Also, if I recall correctly, JL walked out shortly after because of that comment. She's still trash though.
