Britney Spears Feeling ‘More ConfidentThan Ever’ Amid Battle To End Legal Conservatorship

Recommended Posts

Britney Spears has another court date looming in September, and a source tells HL EXCLUSIVELY that she ‘doesn’t want to be scared to speak.’

Britney Spears, 39, is feeling more confident than ever as she continues the fight to end her legal conservatorship agreement. “Britney is feeling more confident than ever right now which is why she’s posting so many topless photos,” a source tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY, referencing her recent racy photo posts. The pop star has shared a slew of topless photos and videos where she wears just a pair of daisy dukes, sporting her smudged liner and a burgundy nail polish. Britney offered no caption except three lip emojis as she gave the camera a smoldering look.

The posts come after Britney spoke twice in source, where she shared concerns around the legal situation involving her father Jamie Spears, 68. She’s set to speak again in September, which will be her first appearance since being granted the ability to hire her own lawyer, Matthew Rosengart of Greenberg Traurig, LLP by Judge Brenda J. Penny. Prior to Matthew, the Louisiana native was being represented by Sam Ingham, who stepped down from the role ahead of Matthew’s appointment.

“She is looking forward to her next court date. She wants to be heard and doesn’t want to be silenced right now,” the insider also said. “Appointing her own counsel felt like such a victory for her which is why her confidence is through the roof. She doesn’t want to be scared to speak. She finally feels she can be open and be herself,” they also added. In Britney’s last two statements, the “Toxic” singer made a number of bombshell allegations about her legal arrangement — including that she was forced to work her last tour in 2018, is unable to remove an IUD to have a third child with boyfriend Sam Asghari, 27, and not permitted grooming services such as hair cuts, manicures or pedicures.

A second source close to the situation tells us that Britney is “hard at work preparing for her next day in court while she’s been spending time relaxing in Hawaii.” The pop star was recently in Hawaii on a romantic getaway with Sam, soaking up the sun in Maui (known to be one of her favorite places).

two more months :dead_falling_wig_dying:

but I hope there's really a huge change (mainly, Jamie out) by the end of the year. She's had enough of this situation.

I also hope for a positive change for Britney. I can't imagine that there wont be some changes especially with her new lawyer. I think getting rid of both Jamie's would be a huge load off for Britney. However, i hope that the next person/organization that takes care of Britney (the estate) launches forensic accounting to see where the bulk of her fortune has gone, and press the relevant charges.

For Britney (the person), i genuinely hope the biggest change is the amount of restrictions she faces to be completely lowered, especially regarding her physical and mental health. But i also think that will be a hard fight since the moment the C-ship loses control over Britney as a person, its primary function is completely dissolved.

September is going to be a very interesting court date, i am also eager to see how her new lawyer handles the dodgy Judge.

And to Jamie - >Tick Tock GIF by memecandy

I wish she could work with someone that could help her boost her confidence at the hearing, not because her testimony is less valid if she speaks one way or another, but mostly for her, so she's not as anxious and nervous (as anyone would). It's obvious the past hearings she didn't trust Ingham enough to tell him about what she wanted to speak, but maybe with Mathew, he can help her to give it a little bit more of order to her ideas, and maybe even advise her about how to react or prepare about any comments Vivian or Jamie, etc could make to try to put her off balance.

I'm not saying she should come and speak like a robot or like a politician, but if she could have an expert in speeches that could help her rehearse her words, could be very beneficial for her. It's like presenting in front of the class, when I didn't know what the hell I was talking about, I'd be very nervous even if it was just exposing for my classmates that didn't give a damn and knew even less than the presenters, but when I was fully prepared about the topic and I had rehearsed at home, I'd be very calm and confident and was much less stressful.
