Album: rep is a little more cohesive and has more consistent bops and some of Tays best tracks like DBM and Delicate.

Lover: rly long and doesnt work as a cohesive album. Is full of good songs though.

Singles: rep had pretty good singles except for dont blame me not being a single or even promo single (rly Gorgeous over DBM??).

Lover: Singles somewhat wrong, Cruel summer shouldve been the lead or 2nd single. The Archer shouldnt have been promo single.

Album cover: Lover is pretty but rep has that theme and wow factor.

Conclusion, rep wins

I think Lover is very underrated. While Reputation serves the drama (and is overall a better album - and it is my second favorite after 1989), Lover is so much fun to listen to when I am in a happy mood! I always find myself playing it.

Both albums have their own mood I guess, just like any other Taylor album.
