Britney is reportedly super relieved and optimistic after being able to choose her own attorney & she 100% wants to press charges against her dad

“It was a good day for her yesterday. She said, ‘I’m getting what I want, finally.’ She’s super relieved and happy. Let’s just say she had a good night’s sleep,” a source tells Us Weekly exclusively.

The insider adds that the “Toxic” singer, 39, is feeling “a tremendous amount of relief and [optimism]” following the Wednesday, July 14, hearing. However, she’s remaining rational about the “gigantic” win.

The source says, “It’s heading in the direction she wants. … She’s very optimistic and very realistic.”

Britney chose attorney Mathew Rosengart, a former federal prosecutor, to be her new representation. 

“She did her own research on her new lawyer but he also came highly, highly recommended by someone. She was thrilled with the scope of what he does,” the source adds. “She’s looking forward to working closely with Mathew.”

According to the insider, Britney’s “priority” is to “get rid of” Jamie as the legal battle continues.

“She’s 100 percent about wanting to charge her father,” the source says. “That’s the next move. … She wants him gone, period.”

Can somebody explain logically how she is able to express herself openly and aggressively now, and not before June 23rd?

 

It has been 12 years of pure silence or absolute fakeness and now it's all honesty but legally there has been no big change to back this change up... Make it make sense for me.

The strength she’s got from her fans, the public pressure and she’s more determined than ever with all eyes on her! Plus after 2019 so much has came out and she’s seen all the love and support! 
 

Also she was fighting before these recent hearings, we just did not know!

Us fans have helped a lot to raise awareness and make her feel comfortable to fight!

I also think the incident with Sean Preston was a huge trigger for her. Maybe before, she had already resigned to not be listened to after speaking with the judge, but Jamie messing with her kids was probably when she had enough.

She did speak up in court as early as 2014 and in 2019, per the NY Times.  But I'm sure she faced repercussions and punishment from Jamie.  So if she felt like she could say this to the world and we wouldn't support her, then it would be a HUGE gamble.  As she said, she was afraid people would laugh and think she was making it up. And if that was the case, Jamie could punish her and make things even worse for her and she would've spoken up only to get more medicated or whatever else.  So as the public has clearly been growing aware and questioning the CShip and FREEBRITNEY has gotten louder and more attention (in particular after Framing BS doc), it seems she had the confidence that if she spoke up it would actually make a difference.

Plus, don't forget, she has literally been tormented and traumatized. People have been changing numbers in her phone, removing everyone she knows (so she just thinks all these friends abandoned her, incl Alli and Fe) telling her lies, doctors and psychiatrist have been abusing her.  AFter all that, you DO start to think maybe you are crazy.  So it seems like finally 2 years after her dad was removed (yes he still has financial control but she has cut him off from speaking to her/seeing her) and with public support, she finally felt like she could actually respond and be heard.  

PLUS if every time she knew the courts were sealing the hearing, the public wouldn't know.  So even though she complained to her attorney and the court monitors, the public couldn't support her or hear about it.  But this time, at the beginning of June 23rd hearing she objected to CSHIP attorneys saying they should seal her comments and said,  "I have been exploited enough, you should hear what I have to say"  It takes a lot to build up enough confidence when everyone around you is telling you awful things and been abusing you for years, but Britney is STRONG and Britney is FIERCE and she is surviving this and will not let them take her down!

In my opinion there is a straight line from this doc to a 10x spike in Britney media coverage to June 23 and finally to the severe public pressure that spurred all the recent positive developments.

I'm not sure people would believe this before, but now more people know its not just a conspiracy theory as a lot of people even here said it was in the past. So media is trying to get scoops now.

I think it helped the fact that New York Times backs it up so it adds credibility seeing as how they were responsible with Weinstein. If it were released through other sources people would’ve wrote it off as rich girl problems.
