Lynne definitely didn’t do the right things over the years, but I don’t think she’s evil. While she does deserve blame for her role, I think fans need to tone down the “rot in h*ll” type comments …

Remember she has also been getting paid from the cship for the last 13 years. The $2,000 a month payments and the $90,000 home renovation costs.

I don't think she's inheritently evil though, she lacks common sense. Thought her ex husband who she knew very well, would be suitable to lead their daughters life.

Lynne Spears has never genuinely cared about Britney's well-being. She wanted Brit to work hard and become a superstar to pay for mommy's lavish lifestyle. Lynne never was there for Britney when she was touring as a 16 year old. All other celebrity mothers like  JT's, Taylor's, Ariana's support their kids. Lynne left Britney to wolves of Hollywood even before conservatorship.

I am so disappointed in Lynne. Though Jansen (one of Britney’s best friends) commented to say that lynne is not in the wrong or something to that effect. It’s been too long that she’s been silent or let her suffer, I hope she is good to Britney and has supported her privately because honestly publicly, it looks bad! I can just imagine her in her southern accent saying ‘ I didn’t know, what they were doing ya’ll’ 🙄

Honestly, she has explaining to do.   I know they don’t, technically, owe the public anything…but her daughter is one of the most beloved public figures of all-time.  The public is invested and hurt by Britney’s treatment.  We’ve been lied to for 13 years thinking Britney was ok (to some extent at least, most of us knew this was sketchy).  Now we have Britney consistently saying “my family did nothing”…of course they’re going to get attacked.  We expect our FAMILIES to be our number one support system…and they ALL failed Britney.  I’d say it’s too late for Jamie to make amends with his daughter, the abuse he’s put her through is too much.  But the rest of her family, Lynne, Jamie Lynn, Bryan…I think they can make this right with Britney or at least salvage some relationship with her, but they HAVE to be transparent about their mistakes (if they recognize they made a LOT of them) and they have to take accountability to move forward.  I’m sure Britney wants her family’s love and acceptance, but she wants it unconditionally.  Can they give that?  After all the corruption that money has caused, I doubt it…but if they recognize the issue, then MAYBE they can move forward WITH Britney.

won’t hold my breath though…we have a mother who took 11 years to step up and fight for her daughter, a sister who is as SCUMMY as they come and a complete pathological liar, and a misogynistic brother who ADMITS he has a favorite sibling (and alluded to it being Jamie Lynne…prob because Britney loathes him).  Her family is despicable.  Britney deserves a better family and I really hope she knows that she has a loving, supportive fan-base that she can call a family every day of the week, even if we are complete strangers to her.

Imagine being perfectly happy with your fav giving up their career (either altogether or for several years) to find true happiness.  We lose our favorite artist and music that helps us through tough times.  But Britney gets to expand her family and find peace through relaxation.  THAT is unconditional love, Spears family.  So in the iconic, scummy, words of Jamie Lynne….NOTE THAT.

Personally idk. I don’t think she deserves all the hate. I’m sure she’s guilty to a degree but wasn’t she the first and really only “family member” to show support of Britney being freed?

she took too long to get involved. Maybe she couldn’t or didn’t know how?

And honestly I’ve been Sort of on the fence about Lynn because of her book. I never read it tho
