Attorney Mathew Rosengart has agreed to be Britney Spears’ new legal representation in her conservatorship fight, Page Six can confirm.

“Britney has had multiple conversations with Mathew in recent days,” a source told us Tuesday. “She was concerned about what was going to happen after [Samuel D. Ingham III] resigned as her lawyer, but Mathew has assured her that she will be in good hands if the judge appoints him.

“He has been keeping close tabs on her case for a while now and felt that her testimony last month was very compelling. He’ll be in court tomorrow.”

Yes mam we’re going from incompetent Samuel Ingham that had done NOTHING for Britney for the past 13 years andhas never had any reputation for any case to Matthew Rosengart, who has investigated and prosecuted cases of national and international significance ranging from violent crimes to public corruption.

That's a good question. In the past, she's been restricted from reaching out to attorneys she wanted to hire.

Maybe...:

1. Team Con knows how much backlash they'll get if they restrict her, so they're giving her a bit of freedom?
2. They plan to use this to make them/the c-ship look fair and/or make Britney's speech look like an exaggeration ("See, we let her go on vacations! She can contact outside lawyers! Don't believe her testimony, she's in great hands!")? 
3. They don't care because they all plan to deny the request anyway?
4. Britney just doesn't care about the rules and is being a Rebellious Queen?!
