justhanging
They did ECT on her in her 5150 according to MoonwalkMars which caused her such bewilderment that she couldn't remember certain things and they wrote down she had "early onset dementia"...Important to Note: Moonwalk Mars has been MIA ever since releasing this information 4 Link to comment

Super Mods Popular Post princessmimi Posted July 13, 2021 Super Mods Popular Post Share Posted July 13, 2021 I understand completely about this topic. I actually DID ECT for 2 years cause I had severe depression due to a major loss in my life and I HATED EVERY SECOND OF IT! Β I would wake up from it feeling nauseous, vomiting, couldnt face bright lights and couldnt walk upright for hours. I also hated the multiple needles they put in me to put me under anesthesia and how they wouldnt let me be released from it. I felt forced against my will to take it even when I insisted cause I signed a contract that I should've read. But anyways: Overall it HAS affected my memory and 2 years later, I STILL have memory problems even though im fkn 27! It was probably one of the WORST times in my life and yet ironically I cant forget that. Sorry if im talking too much about myself: I just wanted to share my experience of what ECT was like. 61 Link to comment

Popular Post ElectricPlatypusLove
I feel the entire concept of the Femme Fatale tour revolved around Britney trying to flee her captors....the opening number featured what I saw as an electric chair and I wouldn't be at all surprised if she was making an artistic statement about this. 2 14 Link to comment
KatieKat
I have read thatΒ ECT is milder than it used to be (not that that means much since it used to be unbelievably horrific)Β and that some people have found it helpful. But thereβs still seriousΒ side effects &Β controversy around it and I thought it was supposed to be considered onlyΒ as a last resort?Β LikeΒ for people who haveΒ severe mental illnessΒ and have alreadyΒ triedΒ lots of different medications without getting any relief.Β And Jamie canβt just waltz in and order ECT to be done. Doctors had to approve this.Β Β So my point is β¦A 5150 is only for a couple of days. How would BritneyβsΒ doctorsΒ have even known if medication was or wasnβt working yet??Β Why would they have even offered ECTΒ as an option at that point??Β Obviously, we donβt know if thatβs what they did.Β ButΒ if this is trueΒ β¦ they need to be investigated and suedΒ for malpractice. I Always Sing Live
WHAT? That sounds like a horror movie. I would never have guessed that ECT is still a thing. Obviously, it's not as barbaric as it used to be, but I'm still flabbergasted.Β 2 Link to comment
I'mNotTheAverageLady
I am currently reading the One's Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, I started after Britney's testimony and it turns out it couldn't be more fittingΒ or more horrific. I haven't finished it yet, but the cruel mental health facility, no rights, no privacy, gaslighting and even perhaps the electroshock therapy fits 6 Link to comment
ThisMeowBiteback
I donβt think this happen in the 5150 hold, because she was release both times on her own. If they diagnosed her with dementia they wouldnβt had release her.Β 1 1 Link to comment
