I’m not adamant at all, me being a person who work for courts I’m irritated that she’s getting attack on here viciously as if she is the one who put Britney in this. Court works a certain way she’s basically a referee & only interfere when both parties are in disagreement (reason why we have the 14th date) I expect her to do everything positive as far as giving Britney her lawyer that’s the most important thing. Once she get her lawyer watch the difference in the judge. She can’t change things if a lawyer not asking for change (ingham ) She can’t do anything without the paperwork, that’s how court work. Ingham is the reason this has been prolonged not the judge. I keep saying, but I’ll say it again she let Britney speak to the public. If she was really trying to keep her under the restraints why would she allowed that? She didn’t have too she could have said no & close the court (make it make sense?) she did not do that. I think she wanted it to be out there to get the ball rolling, so now she can do something. First time Britney spoke I suspect she follow back up with ingham & he told the judge they fix the issues.  Things have change since she been in the seat, things never change when the other judge was in the seat, so far me I won’t lay my judgement on her until Wednesday

Thanks for this perspective!

I don't like how this is leaking beforehand... it'll give her oppositors time to formulate yet another (low) tactic to delay things and make it hard for her to recover her freedom.

But anyway, he's the kinda person needed for this circus: someone who seems to dig the spotlight. He won't work under shadows and quietly... I feel all the dirty laundry will be blown up.

Britney Spears wants former federal prosecutor Mathew Rosengart to represent her in a bid to end the conservatorship.

Read more about the start of their relationship in this topic on Exhale.

According to the New York Times, Rosengart plans on attending Britney's July 14th hearing to  make the case to the judge that he be permitted to represent Britney in her ongoing conservatorship battle.

The NY Times' source spoke on the condition of anonymity because Britney has not yet officially retained Mr. Rosengart as she will need the judge to sign off on that.

If the judge agrees, Mr. Rosengart is expected to take an aggressive approach in ending the conservatorship.

Why do I get a feeling that he will represent her beyond ending the conservatorship, perhaps investigating the past 13 years/contracts entered etc.? Who knows but this lawyer seems VERY skilled and capable of so much to help Britney.

That’s exactly what all things are pointing too!  It’s smart I feel like he’s coming to get her out by showing the court all the illegal **** that’s been going all these years! I don’t think it will be a trial to get her out. He’s going for the killed

I hope the court records moving forward are unsealed tbh.

Same!  At this point we know Britney is fine with the public knowing the truth.  I don’t even think she cares if we know stuff about her medical history/diagnosis.  But even still, keep that stuff sealed, she knows we are invested in her story and helping her have her voice heard!  But sadly, Ingham appears to have talked her into keeping everything else sealed from now on in the break after her testimony.  He knew letting the public hear was a mistake when she said “I honestly didn’t know I could petition to end the conservatorship, ma’am.”...means he didn’t do his job.  Hopefully this guy can at least get her to change her mind so this doesn’t keep on as the dirty family secret.  Keep stuff about her medical history and her kids sealed, but this entire ordeal is something the world is invested in and hoping for justice in, similar to a big trial like that of OJ or Casey Anthony.

We are United for you, Britney!!
