From memory he had made some rather questionable comments about the conservatorship, and stated he'd spoken to Jamie Lynn about it and trusted her. He also stated that her family weren't worried and all had Britney's best interests at heart. 

He likely has Jamie Lynn's I Must Confess untitled memoir on pre-order. You know she ain't gonna give him one for free - she needs to get those coins somehow.

I dont think he's team con but I think he is less than smart. Like someone else said he made his bed and made very direct statements. He would have to admit he was wrong and in doing so he would be admitting Jamie Lynn was lying thus proving her compliance. I just don't think he wants to touch that with a 10 ft pole. And I also don't think he wants to admit he put his own foot in his mouth

I think he was mislead by JL, which makes me question her even more cause now we know she had been feeling this way since the closed hearing in 2019 yet JL had the audacity to say in interviews and to lance that Britney was doing great…
