Yes, it looks to me too that Jodi is now desperate to save whatever is left of her reputation. This filings seem almost like an attempt to prove that she is on Britney’s side.

On the other hand – like someone said – Jaimie is trying to throw her under a bus. So Jodi might be thinking that “enemy of my enemy is my friend”. I.e. by helping Britney to get out of the c-ship she’ll “flip the middle finger” to Jaimie, too.

In one of the text messages she mentioned that “your dad has excellent lawyers and you should too” or something to that effect. I took that as “you need a great lawyer to fight your dad’s lawyers”.

I trust that Jodi is going to help Britney anyway she can to save herself from total ruin and to hurt Jaimie. That’s good enough for me. 😈

I'm wondering why a GAL wasn't appointed from the start? Or why this wasn't in the original petition? I'm still learning about this process and in a totally different state so maybe it's not a requirement in CA.
