Awful. Murderers and rapists still get to hire their own layers. Even after conviction if they can afford it they can still pick their own lawyers.

But Britney Spears can’t. The same Britney Spears that the ENTIRE world has seen that the state of California has allowed her to WORK, sing, dance, act on TV, be a reality TV judge. But she can’t hire her own attorneys.

C’mon now. Judge Penny and the State of California the world is watching your decisions

I mean seriously, this alone should be grounds for disbarment AND punishment for Penny too if she approves.  Britney CLEARLY voiced her wish to hire her own counsel.  The judge DID NOT deny her, but instead told her to discuss this with Ingham, who SAID he would step aside in the event she wanted to retain her own counsel.  Resigning and not fulfilling his clients’ clearly stated wishes goes against what is best for his client.  It’s almost like he’s being spiteful because she threw his *** under the bus.  This document does not state that they discussed this and he still thinks she lacks capacity to retain her own counsel , therefore he recommends a court-appointed attorney, so it’s clear that he never planned to follow her wishes.  She also clearly stated she wanted a termination filed.  And he resigns before he files any petition for termination, which also goes against his clients wishes.  He needs to be disbarred IMMEDIATELY.

She can’t grant his leave and decide for Britney to choose her own (disregard the part about court appointed ) or have the court appoint counsel of Britney’s choosing ?

Emily is amazing, she swears and she’s no-nonsense! She’s soooo pissed about this dirty move by Scam. She made a very good point that Scam resigned now, because that will most likely derail the hearing on the 14th and delay it by months. There are over 3000 documents the new court-appointee attorney need to familiarise themselves with, before the transition is complete. So Britney will need to pay 2 attorneys whilst she’s stalled 🤯 Does it sound like Scam could be doing a favour for Team-Con as well as for himself? 🤔
