TMZ: Britney Claims She Was Forced To Do European Tour ... DISPUTED BY CONSERVATORSHIP

From TMZ

Britney Spears made a compelling case that the conservators have abused her and upended her life, but we've learned the conservators are going to present a very different story to the judge.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ, various people involved in different elements of the conservatorship claim Britney's story doesn't mesh with the facts.

For instance, Britney told the judge last week she was forced to go on her 2018 European tour. She said, "I was on tour in 2018. I was forced to do ... my management said if I don't do this tour, I will have to find an attorney and by contract, their own management could sue me if I didn't follow through with a tour. He handed me a sheet of paper as I got off the stage in Vegas and said I had to sign it. It was very threatening and scary. I couldn't even get my own attorney, so out of fear, I went ahead and did the tour."

Sources connected to the conservatorship tell TMZ, people involved in the tour will tell a very different story at the next court hearing. We're told they will say the following ... when Britney was at the tail end of her Vegas "Piece of Me" residency, she realized "she had nothing on her calendar for almost all of 2018. She then asked Management to find something for her to do so she wouldn't be bored for a year."

The sources claim Management came back to her and suggested a European tour, adding, "She literally begged to do the 2018 European Tour run. She was very excited about it and called repeatedly to ask to have it confirmed. There is a text message exchange between Management and Britney on December 16, 2017, where management provides her with the tour routing. She asks a few questions, and expresses how excited she is to do it."

The sources say once she was on tour, "she simply didn't want to be there so she was trying to find every excuse to leave the tour, at which time she made up the story about being forced to do it."

Britney said she was forced to sign a document committing to do the European tour. Sources connected to the conservatorship say she was asked, not forced to sign, and she did. Furthermore, the sources say the conservatorship changed protocols because Britney would agree to do various things but when it came time to do them "she would lie and deny having agreed to do it. The conservatorship was then forced to put into effect protocols requiring management to get her to sign off on all professional obligations so the conservatorship could show it to her to 'remind her' that she consented to the obligation."

The sources say Management did indeed ask her to sign the document committing to the tour, because that was the protocol the conservatorship had in place, and Britney "willingly signed."

We're told various people in the conservatorship will dispute many of Britney's claims involving getting married, having a baby, being denied the right to see her kids, not knowing she could end the conservatorship ... among other things.

Short story ... the next court hearing promises to be contentious.

In situations like these, there are 2 sides to the story. The truth is somewhere in the middle. I’m guessing that she was starting to enjoy the Vegas residency, as it had been something she was doing for 4 years. She probably felt sad that it was ending and wanted to continue performing in some capacity in 2018. The management team suggested a tour and she became interested, as it would be something both new and familiar. However, she later realized it would be very exhausting and tried to back out at the last minute but the conservatorship coerced her into going through with it by threatening legal action. Honestly, if she wanted to continue performing it would have been better to extend the residency for another year instead of going on tour.

I guess THAT erases throwing her in a mental institution and forcing lithium on her for refusing to do a dance move!

nothing they say can erase the fact that they have been EXPLOITING our girl for the past 13 years threatening to take kids, money and God knows what away from her!

They deserve jail, then a slow painful death and then… BURN IN HELL!!!

lol …. some lawyers are so dumb. Disputing this so mute and petty. I should have been a lawyer. So your saying that a bunch of texts are credible from an individual that was claiming they were coerced and fearing for her life. 😅

As Judge Judy would say, beauty fades but dumb is forever. You had never had either.

So a mentally ill person who can’t be trusted to make her own decisions as per your say so, Jamie, and needs you to make decisions for her, made a decision to go on tour? Which is it? Either she’s healthy or unhealthy.  Either she’s capable or incapable. If you want to argue your stupid point that she wanted the tour, you better come up with way more creative excuses why she needs you to manage her. Jamie, let me save you from embarrassing yourself: you’re fired. Pack up, leave, and start tanning cause orange will match better with a tan complexion.

Seriously, what idiot wants to argue that their conservatee is perfectly capable of making decisions if it makes money but not capable of handling money? “I tell her to rob the bank, and she does it. But I hold the bag when she comes out cause she doesn’t know what to do with it.”  Please… ****ing moron.

We'll see who dares to call britney a liar in court, TMZ.

They're in a battle they can't win. They need britney "to be ok" for them to keep using her for money. They won't make her look like a brat or a liar in the eyes of literally the whole world now, and they can't say she's telling the truth because that would make them guilty, which they are.

It's over for them and they know it, it's just a matter of time before they starting blaming on each others, and watch the rich hollywood executives leave innocent and Jamie's alchoholic r3d n3ck 4ss take all the blame. Not that he's good, he's the worst, but there are many others that will end up free just because they were smarter and had the sistem protecting them.

Even if it is true, doesn't she have the right to change her mind? She pays the penalty, I'm sure she can afford them just like it happend with Domination I can guess.... exept her team decides what's best for her and her finances, if she opposes she's forced in some rehab center in "Gilead". :whitneyshade_whitney_Houston_mad_really_blink_seriously_hmm_umm_done:

I also find embarassing that in the next court hearing she'll be defended by Ingham, it's tragic tbh:lemmetellu_telling_preaching_yelling_talking_points_finger:

Bored?  If she's bored of anything, she's bored of...

- Performing in Vegas for an intoxicated audience with performances she has little control or say in (and can't sing/speak live except for carefully timed sections)
- Sitting 10 hrs in these 'care' and frequent therapy sessions
- Not seeing her friends, her kids, her bf whenever she wants
- Not being able to go out whenever she wants, or live like an adult or a mother
- Dodging staged paparazi
- Constantly being monitored and watched
- Not knowing what the plans are until minutes before if even that

So yeah, of course she's bored.... anyone would be bored having to go through that daily.
She clearly said she wants to take 2-3 year breaks like any other popular artist can, and by breaks she doesn't mean being stuck at home without control.  She means relaxing, doing whatever she wants, and not being abused.

Remember when she started to develop nervous ticks while on tour? I can't remember if it was in America or overseas but I remember her fixing her ponytail every 5 seconds and her hands were trembling. She was EXHAUSTED.

Somebody here just recently shared a video from that tour where her was hand trembling throughout, does anybody have a link to that?

I haven't read all replies in this thread but I truly hope exhalers have learned from their past mistakes and won't believe 1/4th of this, or agree with Team Cship. They had WEEKS to say anything about it, or put it out in the press, and if this was real they'd have played this card at least less than a week after her testimonial. These new claims are obviously prepared, well though and of course, false.

This makes so much sense! It seems like Britney might have been sad her show was ending and she was like "what will I do next year?!" And they latched onto that, made arrangements that didn't involve her or include her and then dumped then on her at a point where she couldn't back out.

So, they're using a throwaway statement from Britney to justify them making large scale plans, and then using that against her.

I just keep thinking, after reading what TMZ reported, ‘SO WHAT?’ Perhaps she did agree to do the tour, perhaps she did back out of things, etc. In this present moment, 3 years after this discussed tour, she has expressed desire to end the conservatorship. If they can show she lied, do they feel that still entitles them to keep her in this conservatorship?

She’s human. She did the damn tour and made money. Shop closed.

hmmm. Seems they’re real scared about the consequences of their actions.
