And I don't understand how Federline couldn't even manage to fix this through dialogue and empathy. He could have just let her see her children, at his house or whatever. I think there was a way to do it without lawyers and immediately calling police officers. It's so cold and inhumane to deal with an issue like this. INHUMANE!!!!

I’ve really had enough of this. I can’t bare to read any more. It hurts me to the core that they could do this to her. There has to be more that we can do - Sam Ingham is purposely sabotaging her and not at all helping his own damn client out. 

What more can we do? I’m worried for her life. She called 911 the day before the testimony. She was seen leaving Hawaii on Sam’s instagram yesterday so tell me - how are things going to be for her when she comes back after pissing her team off with her testimony and absolutely nothing has changed since then?

Why couldn’t Britney and Sam just STAY in Hawaii? She should have stayed there and rented a place long term. I’m sure Sam could fork over cash and Britney has $2k a week.

When I was reading the article, I was thinking the same thing.  Why would they let him get close to her?  Can he really be trusted?

I think this part speaks volumes. When Rose McGowan said on an interview that people (doctors, judges, etc.) were paid off to lie and to put Spears in conservatorship, I believe she is speaking from true experience. Just read this:

“The whole process was maybe ten minutes,” Butcher said. “No one testified. No questions were asked.” At the time, she felt relief that she’d helped to protect Spears. Now she is haunted by the event. “A conservatorship was granted without ever talking to her,” she said. “And, whatever they claim about any input she had behind the scenes, how could you have assessed her then? Shouldn’t you wait a week, then interview her? She never had a chance.” (Goetz disputed this account, saying that there were lengthy confidential discussions addressing Spears’s health, and that it was incorrect to say that Spears was not meaningfully assessed or given opportunities for input. She added, “I can tell you unequivocally that I did not coördinate anything related to the case with anyone connected to the case before it came in.”)

I am thankful for Ronan and Jia writing such a detailed account. Reading it fills me with rage, but also with so much grief.  The way that these narcissistic, abusive people can just rob Britney of joy and this entire conservatorship system has unchecked power to facilitate abuse, exploitation, and more.

This is the most searing part of the piece. Britney has always just wanted to be a mother. We know she loves her kids, and we know she is a good mother. But her family and this system has taken that away from her, and has stolen her ability to see her two proudest achievements grow into the boys/young men they are. That is so much pain to carry. I cannot imagine how that affects Britney.

Always and forever, **** Jamie Spears and everyone who enables him and this conservatorship.

The way they turn against him on the last part makes me think that he was "approved" in the beginning of their relationship but then started helping her? idk I want to stay positive and think she has at least somebody by her side
