She's never fought back like this publicly before so it's completely different from the David Lucado situation.

There's far too much public attention and pressure this time around. Sam has previously spoken out about Jamie, if he is removed from her life he will speak up again.

It’s unlikely she has access to her passport which she’d need to travel out of the country. Not just that she has no access to her money either.
