the thing is why didn't they use that "carrot" to help her in a different way? Why didn't they bring her to Louisiana or if Kevin was so concerned, why didn't he move with the kids to somewhere else different than L.A., a more peaceful environment, they could've tried so many things first if they were so worried, but instead they chose the worst, the most aggressive and controlling and dehumanizing solution.

So Larry started speaking with a professional interventionist "three to four weeks" before the February 14, 2007 intervention.

That puts the date around January 17, 2007.

There was definitely a lot of partying going on...But did it really warrant a 30-day stay in rehab?

Or was it more about her image than anything?

This is such a clear point in terms of determining people's  motivations, and not just in the case of Britney. If they truly truly cared about the troubled person's wellbeing and getting them to a good place, it would make all the sense in the world to pull them out of the industry and environment that caused it. No loving parent who puts their child first would doubt to pull them out of a dangerous, toxic environment if they had the power to do so. Britney's parents/family/team had the power to do so, and they didn't. The brand and her making money was clearly more important. That alone should have at the very least put them all out of the running as conservators or even touching the conservatorship with a 10-feet pole.

This just confirms how neurotically manipulative Larry is and why he always butted heads with Britney as he treats her like a barbie doll and builds her up to be one. All the people surrounding her are crazier than her.

In real time, it seemed this was the best decision  I don't believe Kevin fully understood what was happening at that time. He wanted to make sure the boys would be ok with their mother who was being influenced by  bad people at the time. 

It was just a crazy chaotic time.
