Law & Order: SVU's showrunner on making a #FreeBritney episode

As a longtime SVU fan, I am 100% positive that an episode on conservatorship abuse would raise awareness on the situation (SVU is watched by 6M americans each week and countless people worldwide). I asked Warren Leight, the showrunner, about it on twitter:

This ain't much but I am on a mission and I keep on tweeting him and other writers about the movement.

 

My guts are telling me that they might do something next season... Stay tuned

It would be really fitting on the show, which has always condemned America's corrupt courts and horrifying abusive stories "ripped from the headlines".

Not just SVU but it should be a full SVU/Organized Crime crossover event cuz what’s being done to her is basically organized crime, make it happen **** Wolf,  lol
