A New Greatest Hits

Hi, 2019 passed and that was the 10 year anniversary of The Singles Collection, songs from 1998-2009.
 

We needed one in 2019 with singles from 2005  onwards. Why it didn’t happen?

They should do a rare/unreleased compilation songs that are not available anymore or obscure and songs that have never been released.

I’d say is about time they release something similar to Michael Jackson’s History Collection, half Greatest Hits and half new songs. That would be very cool.

Since GH:MP contained 4 albums, I expected the second compilation to be from Blackout to Britney Jean, I didn't expect TSC tbh but it was to celebrate her 10th anniversary?

Idk, compilations seem rare now with streaming. I would like re-records of her first two albums with some change to the lyrics, I doubt it but it seems cool. But...

Oof no thank you. She’s already so heavily marketed as a nostalgia act...I definitely would not want being sold literally the same old songs we already have.

I wouldn’t mind another greatest hits actually. But I’d also prefer either B In the Mix Vol 3 or a rarities compilation.

Since she is not going to perform anymore, I would love to have unreleased rarities demo whatever RCA can dump into an album. Because I believe they have the original master/demos so to have that kind of album is possible.

Honestly, the Greatest Hits side of the album is the only reason the album didn’t tank hard.

If u have the albums and or Spotify, there's NO NEED for any compilation release unless it's b sides and remixes. Come on people use your brains

This. Greatest Hits albums are irrelevant now that you can stream everything and make your own playlists. 

We need a Rarities release though! An HQ Kiss You All Over, Love is a State of Grace, Baby Boy, Rebellion

I don’t think greatest hits are much of a thing in this heavy streaming era. Maybe if they did it for the vinyl.

Im sure RCA plan to Drop Some form of album this year. I hope it’s unreleased songs with original Doll demo/ songs.

well, first and foremost im done with her hits tbh, i barely listen to britney music nowadays, im a stan ofc but after listening to her music for so long, i need to be in the mood in order to properly enjoy it, so thinking about a GH album is non sense to me.

Her label should focus on, either remaster her existing material or releasing unseen material, unreleased tracks, photoshoots, dvd tours, interviews, official award performances recordings, etc. I dont see the point in releasing something i can easily find in other 9 past albums

I'm not a fan of GH albums (even though MP:GH made me question my ***uality) but in general I don't think GH are worth it anymore with streaming and people creating their own playlists with their favorite songs.
