This Day in Pop: 'Oops! I Did It Again: The Best of Britney Spears' compilation album is released in 2012 (June 15)

On June 15, 2012, Sony/RCA Camden released Oops! I Did It Again: The Best of Britney Spears, a compilation album that includes tracks from her first 4 albums as well as Circus. Not only the tracklist puzzled fans and critics alike, but its surprise release also came out of nowhere. Even Sony Music's Twitter had no idea of it:

The tracklist includes 4 of her official singles, and also includes 2 songs that were previously only available as bonus tracks: You Got It All and Don'g Hang Up. The rest are album tracks that go from a sweet theme such as One Kiss from You or My Baby, to ***ier/darker tracks such as Showdown or What It's Like to Be Me

5. Cinderella

The tracklist looks like a headache, everything seems so messy, and the fact it is called "The best of" yet it misses a lot of hits like Toxic. Everything feels weird.

what irks me the most is the title not having the three dots like Oops!... I Did It Again song and album
