VMA 2000 and 2001 went down in Britney lore and rightfully so, but the 2001 AMA performance which took place in between was nearly just as good. She killed.

The camera man had one job and that was to stay on her during that dance breakdown instead of zooming in and out like that.  Nevertheless, an incredible performance as she absolutely bodied it.  The guitar feels more haunting and electrifying in this performance. This rehearsal truly embodies the Britney I love and remember.
