Lil Nas X premieres new music video for "Sun Goes Down"

It's the next single off his album, "Montero," to be released next month. He's also going to perform on SNL this weekend.

This is really sweet. Obviously, I can't relate to his struggles of growing up as a person of color, but I can certainly relate to the feeling of having missed out on a lot of things as a teenager/young adult because of your ***uality.

I was not craving a ballad from him but the message I stan. Overcoming self loathing and replacing it with self love is a universal struggle and of universal importance.

Honestly hoped for more fantasy sprinkles visually, but I guess it wont fit with the song's vibe anyway .
