As for Teairra Mari- she was under 18 with a parental advisory sticker on her first album... the label didn’t know how to promote her or what songs to push. They basically screwed her over from the jump. But I discovered her after a feature in Rolling Stone, if you are unfamiliar with her work, (NOT LHHH) but her music, she actually has some really good stuff. Just because something doesn’t do well commercially doesn’t mean it wasn’t good.
