I like how she starts off so shy (and it shows in how she's dancing...not really going full out and stuff). Then, around the end of the first chorus, her face changes and the shyness wears off, and then she's slaying like she always does

this, ladies and gentlemen, it’s why Britney f’ing Spears remains unmatchable to this very day.

You can tell she is in an early rehearsal and she starts off a bit unsure. Then the beat hits and she just transforms into a beast. She just eats up everyone else and owns that imaginary stage.

Look how she hits her marks, turns and executes every step. She makes Brian’s take looks pale in comparison (and THAT is saying something because we all know the man CAN dance).

Amazing!

Also, this makes me a little mad about all the busy camerawork from her performances. So many cutaways and closeups we miss the full effect of the choreo. I think the NRJ performance must have been amazing live, but you can hardly tell what’s going on in it with all the rapid cuts in the filmed performance.

All we need is the camera to be focused on Britney with the backup dancers in the frame. Then let them work their magic.

Here's a quick restore I did. It seems Brian is lowering the quality and cutting some pieces on purpose. Either that or her files are that damaged, which I doubt.
