Here is the thing. Madonna use to be able to shock people, but that no longer works for her. She is becoming predictable. Also she looks desperate.

With that said, I think we can be hot at any age. And it’s time to break those barriers. A clear example would be Christie Brinkley in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in a bikini. She looks great while not looking desperate.

If Madonna wants to truly shock people, then I suggest being fully clothed. That isn’t predictable.

She is aging gracefully hence these pics just cause someone gets older doesn’t mean they have to dress like an old lady or put limits on showing off their bodies! Madonna looks great at 62 and is clearly confident with her looks and body and had a younger man! It’s disgusting when people think you can dress how you want and show your body off if you’re older!

Of course, she's Madonna and she does look good, she can do whatever she wants. I didn't mean that she should cover up and not be s*xy. But she tries way too hard to be "cool" but it doesn't come across as cool - it comes across as desperate. It goes beyond these photos. Almost everything she's done after MDNA has been forced and awkward. It actually ages her. I'm a Madonna fan and always will be but she gives off "mom trying to be cool" vibes when she doesn't have to try at all bc she's Madonna.

well she used her body and her ***uality since day 1 as a form of her art so she don't look desperate to me. But i agree that sometimes her posts look strange

Age gracefully as in looking like a vile, foul, overworked, tired and enslaved circus third-world donkey in your 30s?

Omg I remember you, you were one of the aggressive Madonna fans who would attack everyone and everything just to "protect" madonna, even nearly 8 years ago lol. You're a grown-*** man now, not a teenager. Get a grip tbh :lessons_preaching_telling_hand_smack:

Yes I know you think things are cliche. But you know what? Why should Madonna be forced into blandness just because people think she's cringy?  What do you expect people to do? Just be as bland and boring and not stand out at all because people are somehow offended? i think she should continue to just do whatever the **** she wants, she's fighting against ageism, she's said it numereous times, this is her way of protesting against social norms. She has always protested for something, during her whole career, whether it was for LGBT people, POCs, immigrants, feminism, etc... And now, she is protesting against ageism.

It's tiring when people always say "act your age" or whatever.... Like why? Why should we? And why should we care about coming across as uncool/cringy ? We only have one life. So live.

What you said about Britney is one of the most disgusting posts I’ve seen on this site. Preaching about ageism and misogyny, but you feel perfectly comfortable making those incredibly disrespectful posts about someone who the majority on here adores and who is fighting to gain control of her life. I would outright ban you for good, but that choice is not mine to make. Enjoy your two week suspension to better educate yourself

No-one is referring to her as a "vile, foul, overworked, tired and enslaved circus third-world donkey", like you did.

I suggest if you don't like any comments here you can report them and they will get reviewed, instead you decide to attack Britney? How do two wrongs make a right?

Not here for the hypocrisy.

I remember this person very well. Back when I was like 18 (im 28 now) this person (along with few other users) were wrecking havoc on exhale. They humiliated Britney with every chance they had regarding EVERYTHING (looks, mental health, bad singing, autotune, being lazy, looking like a zombie) but would still lie they're her fans. This person in particular was obsessed with Madonna and always had to humiliate Britney and Mariah in order to support Madonna.

Back then, I was like, ok - this person is a teen so I get it, I think he was 18 or 19 back then.

Can you imagine that this person is about to turn THIRTY and he is STILL here praising Madonna like shes a goddess and humiliating Britney? THIRTY YEARS OLD?! How sad can one be?

Is it possible that someone can go from 19 to 29 without learning A SINGLE THING. Without becoming at least 1% better and wiser?

Its ******* scary tbh..

She can do what she wants but she is in no way aging gracefully - no matter which way you cut it.

I certainly can relate to the points you've made. They are valid and it is understandable why you would feel this way. However, Madonna has far more of an ability to make her own choices than Britney. Thus, to criticize Madonna doesn't seem like a 'low-blow' because this is within her control in contrast to Britney's high-stress, potentially sleep-deprived circumstances where she is typically forced to work while her limited freedom consists of dancing videos in her living room in an otherwise supervised existence. Britney has certainly looked better than as of late; however, that should be addressed after she has received human decency via the legal system.
