I live in the UK and the absolute racism Meghan faced was absolutely disgusting, I for one think she did the right thing moving.

She was being silenced, I can't believe people are still bashing a pregnant person of colour.

It’s unfortunate how she was treated unequally. However, when you see your not being protected or financially supported, you should have made the decision to lead a different life which felt like a choice you made way too late for some reason. Then you complain you didn’t have the same privileges but it’s not like your entitled to anything. Then you bash them for it. It doesn’t really sound that humble to me. I just don’t see the Queen being a racist person though. She helped bring nations together. Your bound to meet people with their own biases of course... I just don’t see how it couldn’t have been resolved with the Queen. Media is something you could just ignore and if was that bad... move. Which you did finally which sounded like only happened because Harry was forced to live on his own trust... then you move to LA to make all these Hollywood deals jeopardizing your own privacy further ... idk. It ventures sound positive... but this kind of interview could have been more classy and less entitled brats whining that they weren’t getting the same special treatment in my opinion. But then go on to say ... oh I’m still close with my racist family lol. If you were that triggered by your racist family being married to a black woman, you would stand up for her.

I saw her face when she brought up her son, that was pure pain. She wanted to cry. I don't think that is made up. 

 

Furthermore, I also believe in the suicidal mindset she had. She couldn't leave the royal family. She only had her husband and Noone else. All phone calls are recorded also. So, feeling isolated like that. And being alone with the people you hate really fks with your mind. 

 

Add to that the daunting amount of social engagements they have. Ide totally cave In when I get told no when needing a vacation.

 

Racism and toxic behavior at its finest. It just looks more attractive because there's money behind it this time. Also, anyone saying it should be a private matter between them and the royals really should stop victim blaming.

The tabloids have said way worse things about Britney and the world was watching her every move. She was under immense pressure. Meghan is a grown woman, who knew very well what she was getting herself into. But she is not on that level of fame and will never be, even though that’s what she’s obviously craving for. Britney’s level of fame and public interest can be perhaps only compared to Princess Diana. 

Meghan is just a manipulative phony, who thought she will be automatically adored by the whole nation just by marrying the prince. And when that didn’t happen, she got very disappointed and upset. Let’s not forget that Kate was also dragged through the mud by the press, however she handled it with grace and dignity, as any royal should. Meghan is now airing her dirty laundry for the whole world to see, trashing a centuries old dynasty and the Queen, who has sacrificed her whole life, personal needs and wants, to serve her country and it’s people and has not complained ONCE. Meghan should’ve learned a thing or two. 

 

I find these sorts of comments disgusting, before meeting Prince Harry she was doing A LOT of humanitarian work and seemed sweet.

She has EVERY right to tell her truth, like Britney Meghan was silenced. We want Britney to speak, yet here you are complaining about someone else who was silenced actually speaking and telling their side of the story. 

I find it horrendous people rush at any opportunity to bash Meghan, a person of colour. The woman is talking about her mental health and how she wanted to kill herself and to insinuate she's saying that for attention is honestly disgusting. 

Everyone else was allowed to speak but Meghan and Harry and now they finally are. The amount of racism Meghan has quite obviously faced is horrible.

I honestly find it disgusting how people are still hating on Meghan. I believe her wholeheartedly that she didn't know what she was getting into and that it became too much. Look at Diana's story. It was exactly the same, except for her it was worse because while Charles felt obligated to love her for a while, he never truly did and in the end she passed away in an accident. The royal family hated her back then because she wasn't the kind of woman they thought she would be. And now the same thing happened to Meghan except racism was added on top of it.
Literally lets be real here, we all know the royal family is a ****show and it still blows my mind that they even still exist. What truly got me thinking was Harry saying Diana left him an inheritance. And how he said he thinks she must have known this would happen. And I believe that, because Harry has always been different, rather rebellious and not as fixated on this whole royal thing. I'm really glad for them that he made the decision to get himself and his family out of there, because god knows he must have been scared history would repeat itself. The royal family and especially the media targeted Meghan right from the beginning, because she's no Kate, but 'just' an actress, from the US and mixed on top of it. Of course they would have issues with it. The fact no one from his family had his back speaks volumes about the 'institution'. It's toxic and outdated, it needs to go.

I am shocked by the reaction of this thread. I'm always here for someone speaking their truth. No matter weather she is using the media for her attention or not it doesn't change the fact that them even bringing up that babies skin color is rasict and vile. 

I dont believe she is doing this in any form other than for her and Harry's voice to be heard. I dont buy into the idea that she knew what she was getting into because it sounds like they were welcoming at first so we don't know what they told her before and how they treated her after. No one ever really knows what they are getting themselves into. All they can control is how they react to it after and it sounds like she made efforts to try to better her situation. Thankfully Harry really loves her enough to get her away from it all.
