So, because the Spice girls and riot girl made a major improvement on women standing up for themselves and basically saying we don't need men to like us. 

 

Because Britney,  Paris and Lindsay was boy crazy, that led the media to destroy them cos it wasn't feminism.

 

Paris herself admitted she only acted this way,cos she thought it was expected of her to be the dumb blonde.

 

So, because being boy crazy, led to a backlash.

 

I told yeah, ***ism played a part.
