Racially charged posts Camila Cabello made when she was a teenager resurfaced in recent years, causing significant damage to her star power.

Camila says she tried to correct course in light of those events by taking racial healing sessions. I- at least she's trying????

Exhale, thoughts? Should we forgive and forget? Or is this unforgivable?

I think this is a good thing. She could've just been like "I was young, I am sorry" and left it at that. But she's trying to put time in and do the work. Good example to set tbh.

Those posts came out when she was 15 years old. A few years later she let her fans racially attack Normani to the point of some spreading images of her being lynched all because Normani called Camilla "quirky". Camila said nothing to defend Normani. 

Now she is 24 years old and is NOW facing up to this? NOW she is taking accountability. It took her 9 years-almost a decade to realize her way of thinking is racist. 

Honestly I call BS. Shes been flopping and after BLM riots of last year has put certain people under microscopes for their racism, this feels like PR crap to salvage her career. I'm sure a new single/ album will be coming out in a month or so this is to save face, much like JT's excuse of an apology to B and Janet. 

Girl stay in the trash where you belong. Without Taylor's friendship she would've been canceled ages ago and for good.

She should have known better even being a teenager but it’s all about how one is raised. I believe people grow and get better. God I did some dumb stuff when I was young that I would never do now. 
 

also let’s not forget Justin Bieber actually being on video singing the N word. It just shows the double standard between a female pop star and a male.

I don’t think it’s a double standard. Justin gets a lottttt of flack and heat no matter what he does. Camilla has been praised by the industry for years. However, I think her team is as dumb as she is. They make everything seem so contrived and pre-calculated... and not in a good way. She should take notes from Taylor swifts team, who have somehow managed to make a female trump look “woke”:
