While it's a huge hit for PCD, the original Don't cha by Tori Alamaze, was actually picking up huge radio airplay before Interscope dropped her and gave the song to PCD..

 

It was weird when I heard the PCD version,  I was like we already have a cover of a song from earlier this year. 

 

Even honest says, the pcd version isn't a cover but basically glorified karaoke version .

 

Might be associated with PCD, but it was never theirs to begin with.

Honest is obnoxious as hell. 'Glorified Karaoke' is such a smarmy way of saying they recorded their own version. If anything theirs sounds more finalized and clean. Tori's always sounded like that 192kbps WMA version you would have before discovering what 320kbps MP3's were

Didn’t Tori give up the rights to the song? I thought I read her version flopped and she got dropped by her label. I was also surprised to learn a while back the song was technically ‘covered’ by PCD.

I can not STAAAND Honest's voice. The way he ends every sentence with that horrible lazy sounding vocal fry. His opinions don't mean sh/t. 

I bought Tori's single back before PCD released their version. I must say PCD blew her version out the water!

I'm not a fan of PCD, but I absolutely loathe Honest and I don't understand how he got a huge following when he's incredibly biased and just plain irritating. He's basically a glorified ATRLer at this point.
