Anyone else currently trying to stop smoking w**d/cigarettes?

Recommended Posts

I smoked w33d everyday for a year and a half until last month. It was triggering anxiety and bouts of depression and I started feeling miserable every time I lit up. I’m feeling much more clear headed and stable now but I’m having a lot of trouble getting decent sleep now. I didn’t realize how much I relied on it to get a good nights sleep.

Congrats :clap_clapping_britney_xfactor_red_excited_yay_cheer: but as the saying goes Different strokes for different folks. I grew up in Denver so my stroke on w**d (personally) is that in moderation it is good for me.

During the pandemic I did pick a nasty habit back up (cigs) but i quit before Christmas. Along with that i quit drinking alcohol :carpoolney_dance_karaoke_glory_sunglasses_party_raise_roof:

it's been 6 days since I smoked my last bl**t.

i don't know if we're allowed to talk about w**d on here?

Currently it's quite hard because i keep waking up at night, but i feel so much better, it felt like i was ruining myself, i felt so disgusting

there's pretty no benefits from it, whether it's financially, mentally, physically

i hope i will never smoke again :gum_britney_chewing_chomping_2006_2007_Red:

if you're reading this, it's never too late , you will feel much better

Congratulations!!! :wink_britney_everytime_white:

I stopped smoking w**d 5 years ago. I spend many years smoking it until I started to suffer depression after I lost a five years job. That’s when I noticed that I couldn’t sleep well, it also made me very hungry and made me smoke more cigarettes too when I was high. One day I stopped to improve my life.

Now I still smoking organic tobacco, much less than before (Just one or two at night), I workout and I eat healthily (I lost 13 pounds last month). So, if you really want it, you can do it!!!

Good for you! It’s 3.5 weeks since my last joint and I had pretty much become a daily stoner for the last 6 years. R/leaves on Reddit is really good for motivation to keep going. The crazy dreams and sweats ease off but I think I’ve still a while to go before I get a solids night sleep ... stay strong x

I've been smoking daily for 7 years already and I feel useless. I have to say that w**d discovered me a new world and made me accept myself and to be more in peace with myself, but  I need this to stop. I hope this topic can give me strength.
