It would not make sense because they would act the same, lbr. Mtv would apologize just for good press.

They shouldn't have used her. Britney gave them all the ratings, iconic performances, the hype... and they just used her years after. They used her for ratings, making fun of her, creating fake hype on her fans... whatever. It does not make sense, they should respect her, and that's all. That would prove they've learnt from their mistakes.

also, not an apology and not directly from MTV as like from the executives, but they did post this segment from MTV News

They really should apologise for snubbing her at the VMAs before 2008.

Well now here they are, using her performances to claw back ppl into their flop channel :inbed_ahs_hotel_sarah_paulson_grin_smirk_cackle_bed_reading_phone:

She's the Marilyn Monroe of the music industry after all, her videography is literally the most iconic one of the 2000s, who cares about some awards that ain't nobody besides stans are caring about :inbed_ahs_hotel_sarah_paulson_grin_smirk_cackle_bed_reading_phone:

Well yeah, Sarah Silverman say they ask her to roast Britney specifically after her perfomance, what kind of epic betrayal is that? You have the most searched star in the world on your stage and secretly there is a plan to roast her after? What a ******* morons, i can't with so much evilness in the industry, really. Devil right there.
