This Day in Pop: Scream & Shout (Remix) single is released in 2013 (January 29)

Sorry, I cannot write a proper entry right now, but still wanted to remember the anniversary 

On January 29, 2013 we got the Scream & Shout (Remix) by will.i.am and Britney Spears, featuring Hit Boy, Waka Flocka Flame, Lil Wayne and Diddy. 

 

The music video was released in February, so I'll write a proper story for that later :P

Diddy always brings so much needed artistry and energy to every song he's on.

I liked it when it come out I thought it's going to be big. But it didn't catch on people. Sill amazed that they did get her to be on two videos and she looked incredible on both

This was so forgettable, and song-wise, was as good as Pretty Girls (aka not good at all). I prefer the EDM/dance style over whatever this rap style they had for the beat.

I will say though, I always preferred this look over the original video.

I feel like that was a leak/unofficial remix, much like R Kelly's remix of TTWE.

It's not that it leaked. Pitbull DID remix the song, and released it, but he did it by himself. It wasn't an official release by the record label, nor by will.i.am and even less Britney's team.

Actually it wasn't even posted on Pitbull's accounts or anything, it was some DJ or something who published the track.

Actually, Pitbull used to ruin songs before Scream & Shout, he had already remixed Rihanna's Diamonds and Shakira's Did It Again

I'm not sure, I think it wasn't uploaded to any platforms other than YouTube.
