Rumor has it there's a remake of "The Bodyguard" in the works with a "very popular singer"

Word on the street says a re-make of the iconic Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner classic, "The Bodyguard," is in the works. 

It'll apparently be cast with a hot actor guy and a "very popular singer," according to a new blind item. 

The chatter is around maybe Ariana Grande or Beyonce. 

Thoughts, Exhale? Should this be re-made? And with whom?

It's my favorite movie & people have talked about remaking it for YEARS. It should just be left alone unless they were to put together an extended cut of the original with bonus scenes.

 

Maybe do a special on TV to celebrate the 30th anniversary next year where they have some (MAJOR) artists perform the music with some interviews/never before seen footage woven in between.
