Trump supporters storm the US Capitol, forcing it into lockdown

Hundreds of Trump supporters pushed passed police barriers and stormed the Capitol building on Wednesday (Jan. 6). It's a response to lawmakers certifying Joe Biden's win as President. As a result, the Capitol building is now on lockdown.

The armed protesters storming the capitol are participating in a coup attempt and are subverting the constitution. They should be tried for treason.
