The Grammys get postponed

The Grammys, which were originally scheduled to air this month, have been delayed due to COVID. They're hopeful it'll take place in March instead.

Can we replace the Grammys altogether. I think we’re all tired of the old infrastructure of privilege old  wrinkly straight men choosing which music is popular for the masses

But what is gonna change in a period of 2 months? Not nearly everyone will be vaccinated by then...I feel they should have postpone it at least half a year. The coronavirus isn't going anywhere in just 2 months when it already took over nearly entire 2020....

And by the look of it, the first half year of 2021 isn't gonna be better...not to be a downer but let's stay realistic, this is WAY too optimistic...

LOL and only a few hours ago I was getting pretty excited/nervous knowing I was working late that night... honestly it's for the best. All the other major award shows that usually happen around this time have been postponed.

LOL they're not gonna postpone a ceremony for an entire year. In the Rolling Stone article they said that there would be no audience and nominees would accept results remotely. Besides they've still been able to do other ceremonies similarly like the VMAs, EMAs and BAFTA TV awards.
