i relisted to the Britney Album and to me its interesting

i used to really dislike this album but had it rank high for songs like slave, boys, and overprotected. however, i have recently come to see this album in a new light. im almost older than britney's age when she released this album and i have been very much relating to it as a whole (esp. im not a girl, not yet a woman, i finally understand it.) i can totally FEEL the two different sides of herself britney was feeling at this stage. wanting to be mature and grown up while still remembering that she's youthful and can still be girly! the only critique i really have for this album at this point is the tracklist order. i think the last half of the album has too many midtempos all at once and shouldve been separated a bit more, stuck in between a few of the more upbeat ones bc it kinda makes me lose interest
